What began as a YouTube channel in July 2018 is now one of Pimpri's most loved dance academies — built entirely by one woman, one vision, and an unyielding love for movement.
Mehek started Dancehood as a content creator, and within months realised she wanted to do something deeper — pass the art on. Offline classes began in October 2018 with just 10–15 students. Today, over 100 students train across two fully-owned studios, guided by a 100% women-led team of nearly 10 members.
Dancehood doesn't just build dancers — it builds confidence. From conquering stage anxiety to finding freedom of expression, every student is seen, heard, and shaped with intention. And with 40K+ on Instagram and 300K+ subscribers on YouTube, the stage keeps growing.

Mehek Tejwani launched Dancehood as a solo YouTube creator in July 2018 — a one-woman army with a camera and a choreography. Three months later, the first offline batch began. What started with 10–15 students has grown into an academy of 100+, led by a fully women-powered team she built from the ground up.
Every choreography — from wedding performances to corporate showcases to private workshops — is personally crafted by Mehek. Her focus goes beyond technique: she helps students overcome stage anxiety, find their confidence, and express themselves freely in a space designed to nurture, not just train.
